ANIME
Shounen, shoujo, that one obscure 90s OVA nobody in the field will recognise. Manga-only characters count.
Four categories. Solo or squad. A stage walk in front of the whole field at 2:30 PM, and ₹40,000 split across the winners. Registration is ₹299 an entry, solo or squad, and closes two weeks before gates open — or when 120 entries fill up, whichever lands first.
Four to choose from on the entry form. Pick the one your character belongs to — the judges score within each category, so a Demon Slayer sits against other anime and not against Thor.
Shounen, shoujo, that one obscure 90s OVA nobody in the field will recognise. Manga-only characters count.
Heroes, villains and the ones who were briefly both. Comic panel or film still — either is a source.
Animated, live action, Pixar, the villains especially. Sidekicks are a legitimate strategy.
Gods, demons and heroes from any telling — Indian, Greek, Norse, or the ones your grandmother swears by.
This is MADOOZA's first year, so we are not fencing anyone out. The four categories are how the judging is organised, not a list of what is allowed — if the character you have spent three months building doesn't sit in any of them, enter anyway and pick whichever comes closest. Video games, K-drama, books, wrestling, an original design out of your own head: all of it walks the same stage. Next year the categories will be drawn from whatever turns up this year, which means what you come as now is what the contest becomes.
Cash, trophies, and the merch drop before it goes on sale. Judged by the guest panel — one of whom is still in the vault.
The carnival takes its own partners, separately from the fest, from the table that fixes broken wings to the name on the contest itself.
